Update

Wow -I didn't mean for this much time to pass between posts, but here we are, over a month later. Well, a lot has happened. We have put our house on the market, and have had a lot of traffic, but no bites yet. We are keeping our fingers crossed, especially in this market. We have been looking at houses to move to, and even made an offer on one house, but did not get the house. It had upset me greatly; even went through the 5 stages of grief. But I am over it now, and am back, having fun searching MLS listings daily. Lots of great houses out there, but it is tough to really look at houses from out of town. To date, we have made three different trips to search for houses, but still haven't found the right house. We'll let you know when progress is made. If worse comes to worse, we could always live with my parents for a few months while we continue to shop for houses. Needless to say, my husband is working feverishly to find us a nice home to move into ASAP :)

In other news, our son celebrated his First Communion last week. It was so nice, and I got misty eyed during the ceremony. My baby is growing up! That same week, he sang a duet in his school Spring concert. So cute! My eyes were welling up the whole time. It didn't help that I was post call that day -I am always so much more emotional on those days. Sleep deprivation sucks.

After a long, seven month process, I am finally licensed to practice medicine in my home state. I had submitted my application at the beginning of November, and jumped through hoops to push my application through the approval process, including getting two sets of fingerprints done at our local police station (I felt really BAD getting fingerprinted-hey where's the two way mirror, and where do I go for my mug shot? Don't I get a phone call????).

Still lots to do this Spring and Summer, including our daughter's graduation from pre-school (heehee), my own graduation from residency (note the countdown!), the move, taking (and passing) my Board exam, and starting our new jobs. The kids are excited to move, be closer to family, and start new schools. We'll let you know as things happen.
