Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone had a great Halloween! Our little munchkins had a great time. Our son went as the Tinman (he had been a lion 3 years ago and a scarecrow last year- he turned down the idea of dressing up as Dorothy next year) and our daughter went as a Carebear. We had gone shopping for costumes a few weeks ago and somehow the dinosaur costume was forgotten about, as well as the Spiderman costume. They each picked out their respective costumes and we went on our merry way. As cute as they were in these costumes, I must admit I was a little disappointed that our daughter didn't dress up as Spiderman. Anyway, they each had their parades and class parties at school, then we went trick-or treating. It was a little cold, but bearable. It was fun seeing all the other costumes. My favorite was a lady dressed in a black sweatshirt, black pants, and a white belt, with white dots on her front lined up so that she looked like a domino. Clever and simple. I liked it.

We got quite a few trick-or treaters at our house, but not enough to get rid of all the candy. So here I sit with a bowl full of candy just out of arms reach. M-U-S-T H-A-V-E M-I-L-K-Y W-A- A- A -Y . . .
